Middleton in Teesdale at Spring Time

Spring time is a wonderful time to visit Teesdale.  The farming industry is very busy with lambing time and in almost every field that you pass, from early March onwards, you can see the lambs charging around in little gangs or being watched protectively by their mothers.  Experience the birds, busy nesting and calling for mates, enjoy a walk and see the lovely patches of beautiful snowdrops bursting through the soil.

Be wowed by the aerial display of thousands of starlings over the evening skies in the village of Whorlton. The murmuration takes place at dusk and you can watch the birds make mesmerizing displays over the village.

Enjoy the activity of the natural world during a visit to Teesdale in spring time.
